This update improves house security, PvP skull behavior, boss reward reliability, market stability, NPC selling options, interface persistence, player communication, and the overall Store experience.Server Updates • Fixed an issue that allowed players to kick characters from houses they did not own. • Fixed map issues in the Darashia Werehyaena area. • Fixed enchanted Silver Token Rings and Silver Token Amulets so their bonuses now expire correctly after 2 hours. • Fixed an issue where Grizzly Adams boss tasks could appear blocked after an expired failed boss attempt. • Fixed The Shatterer exit teleport so players can reliably leave the room after the fight. • Fixed an issue where Bone Overlord did not drop a reward chest for all eligible players. • Fixed an issue where Ferumbras Mortal Shell could sometimes fail to appear after completing the mechanic. • Market offers now correctly support high gold prices without being changed to a lower value. • Improved Jeronimo outfit and mount rotation to prevent recent offers from reappearing too soon. • Traditional Sai can now be sold to Tradebeard, the Loot Seller, and Esrik for 16,500 gold. • Ripper Lance and Greater Garlic Necklace can now be sold for 500 and 10,000 gold through Tradebeard, the Loot Seller, and their respective NPC merchants. PvP & Skull System Updates • Important change: Players now only lose Skull time while they are online. • Unjustified Frags are no longer split among 5 players. They now go fully to the top 5 damage dealers involved in the kill. Thornia Client (TTC) • Fixed an issue with Daily Rewards where, in some cases, the system incorrectly indicated that the player did not have enough capacity and failed to deliver the reward. • Improved the Prey Interface for a cleaner and more reliable experience. • Players can now use Exiva directly from the VIP List. • Improved the Spell List Interface. • Fixed panel and profile persistence. Panels are now saved according to the selected profile, and profiles are now saved based on the character name, making character switching faster and more consistent. • The Prey Tracker has been renamed to Kill Tracker and now displays Active Preys and Bounty Tasks. • When a player mentions you in World Chat using @player, a green tag will now appear in the chat to indicate that you have been mentioned. • The Store has been completely redesigned with an improved visual experience and special offers on selected items. • Added a new banner to the main menu displaying the event calendar and the currently boosted creatures. | ear community, Update 2.8.8 focuses on refining the foundations of Thornia by improving gameplay reliability, polishing key interfaces, expanding event visibility, and introducing the first beta version of Full-Screen Mode. This update also strengthens Soul Core systems, dungeon behavior, Store usability, and Client 15 stability, delivering a cleaner and more dependable experience across the world. Server Updates • Fixed an issue that caused some Soul Core fusions to fail unexpectedly. • Fixed access to the Hero of Rathleton teleport after interacting with the Strange Pipe. • The Ominous Soul Core is now properly recognized as a fusion Soul Core and no longer displays the “Invalid monster type” message. • Fixed the shop sell window so tiered items are no longer listed as sellable when they cannot actually be sold. • Fixed the NPC Irmana, who was previously not buying items correctly. • Avar Tar now grants the Demon Outfit upon completing Annihilator. • Fixed an issue in Tower Legacy where bosses from another battle could remain active after entering a new encounter. • Thais' Tower now has a 20-minute completion limit. If the time expires, all participating players will be removed from the tower. Thornia Client (TTC) • Featured: A new Full-Screen Mode has been implemented in beta. • Improved the visual presentation of the Event Notification Banner. • Added the Memorial, allowing players to see who has earned the Golden Outfit and Royal Costume. • The currently active event is now displayed below the FPS and Ping indicators. • Fixed the Preferred List option on the Task Board. • Fixed several issues in the Trade NPC Interface. • Optimized the Sell window in Tradebeard, resolving an issue that could cause the client to freeze. • Corrected button positioning in the Analytics Selector. • Fixed an issue where selecting yourself on the minimap could repeatedly display the “you” tooltip. • Viewers of Party Casts will no longer see party members on the minimap. • Fixed an issue where the Minimap could not be moved properly. When docked to a menu, it can now only be resized vertically. To use horizontal resizing, the minimap must be docked to the horizontal panel or left undocked. • Fixed the order of menus and backpacks. Their layout settings now persist after logging back in. • Players can now purchase 5x carpets from the Store. • Fixed the bed offers available in the Store. Client 15 Updates • The Daily Rewards display may show 99 instead of 100, but once delivered, players correctly receive the full amount of 100 rewards. • Fixed a crash that could occur when selecting Show in Quest Tracker from the Quest Tracker. • Fixed a Client 15 crash that could occur when connecting through TTC to a character already connected on Client 15. Server Updates • Featured: Stamina now regenerates while training with an Exercise Weapon, making offline and dedicated training sessions more rewarding. • The Marriage System has been implemented and is now available. • The !backpack command now correctly deducts funds directly from the player bank account. • Repaired access to the Zao Palace entrance. • Fixed several doors inside the Secret Library. • Corrected the slot count of the Peppermint Backpack. • Added the following items to Loot Seller / Tradebeard: Ogre Choppa, Naga Earring, Naga Armring, Spark Sphere and Amulet of Loss. • Players can now use potions inside houses where they have been invited. • Alexander now offers Life Rings for sale. • House invitations and name changes once again support player names containing hyphens (-). • Adjusted the attributes of the Lion Spellbook; it can no longer be equipped by Knights. • Reviewed the Tailor System to ensure proper delivery of Mage and Summoner outfits. • Rewards obtained through the Task Board are now delivered directly to the Store Inbox.
